The 40 million tons per year Yulong Island Refining and Chemical Integration Project is a major project for promoting high-quality development and transitioning of old and new driving forces in Shandong Province.
The seawater desalination project of the Yulong Island Refining and Chemical Integration project is implemented in two phases under a general plan. The first phase proposes to construct a crude oil processing capability of 20 million tons per year and an ethylene unit of 3 million tons per year. It mainly constructs a series of refining processing devices, such as a 10 million tons per year atmospheric distillation device and a 10 million tons per year reduced pressure distillation device, as well as several sets of advanced chemical process devices. The project fully excavates the stepwise reutilization of low temperature waste heat resources in the Yulong chemical system, combined with green, low-carbon, thermal film-coupled F-MED-RO new process and dual-membrane full-process technology.
